Looking forward to lecturing at the Soho Apple Store on May 12th. Click to RSVP on Facebook. I will be discussing how the practicalities of photographing humans through improvisation, alongside technical considerations and constraints, are enlisted together in order to create my images. Sponsored by APA and Kodak.
Monthly Archive for April, 2010
This coming May 8th, 2010, is my 4th Mini-Tableau leading up to the main 120-model event this coming autumn. Although the May 8th performance is a small private event, everyone can celebrate with us and peer in on the goings-on through online live streaming.
On Saturday May 8, 2010, one hour prior to sunset, at a private residence in Dumbo overlooking the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges, be witness to thirteen models; some styled, some nude, a Turkish violinist, live instrumentation, and uninhibited movement. As the sun dips below the horizon, a series of living, breathing images will unfold against a backdrop of water, bridges and city lights.
Tableau Vivant of the Delirium Constructions Part II is a not-for-profit endeavor, fiscally sponsored by the Lucie Foundation, based on my still photographic series, The Delirium Constructions.
