I’ve opened up a New Miniature Edition size for tiny affordable prints. They are $200 each. The edition is 13 and the mini-diorama-matchbox size is 2×3. I imagine these hanging in multiples near each other or even touching in frames. I recently showed them at the Wall Space Gallery (http://www.wallspaceseattle.com) in Seattle last month. Write to me if you want to purchase one or some! Or, if you live in Seattle, write to Wall Space and make the sale through them- that would make them happy.

Check out 1000 Words Magazine (http://www.1000wordsmag.com). I am the featured photographer on their home page this month and if you log into my Gallery there, you can read an essay written by Cara Philips about my photography called Delight and Horror. I’m thrilled with this. She opens with this quote by Edmund Burke: “… I think there are reasons in nature, why they obscure idea, when properly conveyed, should be more affecting than the clear. It is our ignorance of things that causes all our admiration, and chiefly excites our passions.”
I have a shout out for my Yves St Laurent Surface Magazine shoot with nude seniors in New York Magazine’s “The Best and Worst of November Fashion Magazines.”

I just got back on the 9th from Europe… still jet-lagged I suppose, since my head is in some funny kind of unexplainable cloud. Can’t really remember the last time I experienced jet-lag quite like this. I spent time with London, Paris, and then Barcelona. It was spectacular. I spent countless hours laughing uproariously with my sister and with my family and with my friend April. I also remember standing stark still in Saint Gervais Church, holding a hand with April. We watched as the air around us thicken with white incense from the silver ball the young, pink-faced monk was rocking back and forth at the alter. We just stood there under the sky high ceilings while all the nuns and monks in white organized themselves in perfect shape on the floor, and sung so softly… chanting… it felt like their chants were falling our of their breath, rather then being sung. Almost like they were just breathing really deeply and harmony was moving out of their bodies and connecting all of them with everything else. And April and I just stood there, holding hands. It was all so delicate. Thank you to my friend Ian Kennedy on this list who recommended we seek out the nuns singing, that it was imperative. THANK you Ian.
The Louvre was also incredible- obviously. Fell in love with Delacroix and have a secret photo project brewing out of this.

There were some interesting comments from the jurors, all of whom chose to remain anonymous. If you are the juror out there who had the comment about my image titles, I would love to talk to you. It’s curious feedback to me and I was just thinking about the same thing. Write me if this is you!
I was featured last month, while away in Europe on the homepage of My Art Space (http://myartspace.com), Reflect Arts Newsletter (http://www.reflect-arts.com), as well as on Flak Photo (http://www.flakphoto.com).
