I was just selected by American Photo Magazine as one of this years Emerging Photographers. All twelve winners will be featured in the November/December Issue.

Anthony La Sala, Senior Editor of PDN Magazine recently selected a piece to be included in the Juried Online Exhibition at the Photo Media Center.

For those of you who are new here, when I am not photographing, I arrange, sing, and perform music with Black Sea Hotel, Brooklyn’s Balkan Vocal Quartet. We are in the midst of designing our logo, website, and brand. We are also in the midst of recording our first full-length album this fall. It will be available for purchase by the Holidays. I have just finished an edit of my new advertising portfolio with the help of Designer/Art Director Extraordinaire Sean Mosher-Smith (http://www.echodesignlab.com), Printer Extraordinaire, April Renae (her website for her new Printing Company, based in SF, Dogleaf Studios is still under construction), and Bookbinder Extraordinaire, Richard Verdini (http://www.portfoliocreativedesign.com). Today I helped hang Close-Up at Calumet NYC, an ASMP show curated by Nina Trivedi out of London. Nina also, last minute, also asked me to put a piece of mine in the show since it was my image that was used to promote the competition. I just saw this link that announces this show using my image.

To be said before jumping into my personal business in the last 3 months:I was going to avoid talking about the scary political situation we have on our hands in my personal Newsletter. Still waiting on Details for the Exquisite Corpse Exhibition to be held in DC at the Meat Market Gallery this Winter. I just shipped my piece today.

Hijacked: American and Australian Photographers, the coffee table book, recently launched additional exhibitions internationally in Perth, Stuttgart, Fremantle, and NYC. Jack Pam (http://www.mapfilms.net) came to my apartment a few months back and interviewed me for their video of the included artists. He was great.
