For those of you in LA on Feb 8th 2008, I will be in the Awards Showcase Exhibition at the Bellevarado Studios for the 4th Annual Altpick Awards. I won first place in the Single Image Category this year. Thank you so much to all of you who voted for my image! I appreciate it so much. In addition to the Exhibition, the award grants my image to be published in this years Altpick Calendar that will be sent to Art Directors and Creatives nationwide. yeah! and thanks again for your support.
I’ll be showing 8 pieces in the annual Portfolio Exhibition at The Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, CO. This exhibition of 12 photographers-each showing 8 pieces- was judged and curated by Michael Mazzeo, founder of Peer Gallery in Chelsea. Opening is January 4th 2008 and the show runs till the 19th.
I was awarded as 1/60 nominees out of 15,000 images for the 2nd Annual Master’s Cup in the category of nude. No exhibition connected to this unfortunately.
Tonight, if you are in Chelsea, stop by the Kathleen Cullen Gallery between 6-8pm (508 west 26th street) for a Book Launch and Exhibition for Magenta Foundation’s International Emerging Photographer’s Competition. I have an image in this years Book and it will be sold at the gallery tonight.
